SERVICE TIERS & PRICING QUESTION

Q: What are the three service tiers and how do they differ?:

-
Imaging Only ($150K): High-resolution SPECT/CT imaging at Days 1, 3, 5 with detailed analysis. You receive live animals and handle internal tissue processing.
-
Standard Integration ($200K): Everything in Imaging Only PLUS clinical biomarkers (CBC + CMP) and integrated "cross-talk" analysis between blood work and imaging findings.
-
Comprehensive ($250K): Our flagship service. Includes everything in Standard PLUS MRI imaging, full histopathology (H&E, TUNEL), and board-certified pathologist review for a publication-quality data package

Q: Do you offer volume pricing for multiple compounds?

Yes. Volume pricing is designed for pipeline screening and portfolio optimization:
-
10+ Compounds: 10% discount
-
20+ Compounds: 25% discount
-
These tiers apply whether studies are run simultaneously or spread across a 12-month development cycle.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
HOW TITAN™ WORKS
Q: How does the TITAN™ proprietary tracer detect tissue damage?
Our proprietary radiotracer Noceravide accumulates specifically in dead and/or dying tissues undergoing apoptosis and necrosis. By binding to cellular components exposed during candidate-induced tissue injury, the SPECT imaging can quantify damage throughout the body 1–3 days before traditional serum biomarkers or clinical signs appear.
Q: Can TITAN™ detect all types of toxicity?
TITAN™ is exceptionally sensitive to cytotoxic tissue damage involving cell injury across all organ systems, including hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, and cardiotoxicity. It is less effective for pure functional/behavioral changes that do not result in tissue injury (e.g., reversible biochemical shifts or electrophysiological changes).
Q: What species and animal models do you work with?
-
TITAN™ is compatible with ALL animal models
-
Standard: Standard small animal models include healthy rodent mouse (ie: C57BL/6, BALB/c) and rat (ie: Sprague Dawley Wistar) models.
-
Advanced: Large animals (Dog, NHP, Minipig), disease models (Tumor-bearing, aged), and demographic matrices (Male vs. Female and/or Young vs. Old).

STUDY LOGISTICS
TIMELINE & PROCESS QUESTIONS
Q: How long does a complete TITAN™ study take?

-
The total timeline is 12–14 weeks.
-
Setup: 2–3 weeks (Contracting & animal ordering)
-
Execution: 3 weeks (Dosing & longitudinal imaging)
-
Analysis: 6–8 weeks (Image quantification, biomarkers, and final report writing)
-
Expedited Analysis (4–5 weeks) available for an additional fee.
Q: Can you run multiple studies simultaneously?

Yes. We frequently run parallel studies for pipeline screening. This allows you to test 10+ compounds in the same 12–14 week window rather than waiting 2+ years for sequential testing.

ADVANCED CAPABILITIES
CUSTOM SERVICES & ADD-ONS
Q: When should I consider Large Animal studies?
Large animal validation (Dog, NHP) is highly recommended for biologics development, medical devices, and high-investment assets where the FDA requires non-rodent safety profiles. These studies typically range from $400K–$1M+ but provide the highest degree of human translation.
Q: Why include Age and/or Sex Matrices in your safety package?
The FDA’s evolving "Diversity Action Plan" increasingly requires preclinical data that reflects human population diversity. We offer Age/Sex Matrices (Young vs. Aged, Male vs. Female) to ensure your safety package is regulatory-ready for diverse clinical entries.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & OWNERSHIP

Q: Who owns the study results and the TITAN™ technology?
A: We maintain clear boundaries to protect both parties:

-
The Customer: Retains full ownership of their compound and all validated study results. You have the exclusive right to use the findings for regulatory filings, publications, and patent applications.
-
Durametrix: Retains all rights to the TITAN™ platform technology, proprietary tracers, imaging protocols, and analysis methodology.

Q: What happens if a novel discovery or indication arises during the study?

A: Our standard Master Service Agreement (MSA) is industry-friendly. We respect your ownership of your assets; in the event that a novel "Use Case" or discovery occurs via our platform, we work collaboratively with our clients to determine the optimal path forward—whether through joint ventures, licensing, or expanded development.

Q: What deliverables do I receive at the end of the study?

A: You receive a Comprehensive Study Report (60–100+ pages). This is a submission-ready document containing all processed data, quantitative visualizations, and mechanistic interpretations.
-
Note: To protect the proprietary nature of the TITAN™ platform, Durametrix does not provide raw DICOM imaging files or unprocessed Excel datasets.

CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC
QUESTIONS BY CUSTOMER TYPE
Q: How does TITAN™ support M&A Due Diligence?
A: Our 12–14 week timeline fits within the standard 90-day due diligence window, allowing investment firms to independently validate a biotech’s safety claims before a transaction closes.
Q: How do CRO partnerships work?
A: We offer White-label and Co-branded models. Your CRO can offer "Advanced Mechanistic Safety" as a premium service, while Durametrix handles the technical execution and generates the final data report.
